Ford Water is an irrigation company that has grown strong roots throughout British Columbia, specializing in designing, installing and servicing irrigation systems. They provide these services to BC farmers, while helping them understand how to optimize their water usage. The owner, Chris, got in touch with Parkway as his previous logo had been the face of the company since the beginning, and he wanted to create something new that was more in line and relatable with his target audience. With the world moving quickly with modern tech and AI, there was no better time for an upgrade, as the equipment in the irrigation industry is rapidly incorporating new technology year after year.
In the early stages of the design process, we were trying to incorporate some of the equipment Chris would use on a day to day basic, such as a sprinker system head. After several revisions, we decided to strip it down to the basics, and simplify the logomark using a balance of water, and crop fields. Using a two-tone colour palette and even symmetry, we landed on this as the final product - a logomark that Chris resonates strongly with in his line of work.
